Spheal #363

It's so round and fluffy! ♥u♥
The first time I laid my eyes on Spheal I immediately had a mental image of a seal that has swallowed a whole beach ball. This amigurumi makes you want to constantly hold it in your hands.
In the making of Spheal I used 7 Veljestä blue yarn along with beige, black, and white cotton yarns. I figured I could card the amigurumi's fur as a little extra to make it fluffy. I tried to do it with a rootbrush first, but it turned out it made too shaggy of a work, so I had to switch to a nailbrush which I mainly use when carding alpaca.
In my opinion Spheal turned out lovely! I'm having huge difficulties trying to refrain from just picking it up from my amigurumi box in my arms >u<

DeleteVillalangasta saa aikaan vain tällaisia isoja otuksia, pienemmistä tulee vähän turhan kovia. Siksi puuvillaa on aika monissa töissäni :D
