Butterfree #012

So, here's Butterfree. This amigurumi stands 15cm tall but even though it's small it was a considerably huge project because of its wings which took about 25 hours to make. Embroidery is challenging to do evenly om crocheted surfaces like these wings but the result pays off. For this summer I got a job from Olavinlinna castle as an intermission waiter. Today I was able to photoshoot Butterfree after work. The old walls of the castle indeed create a beautiful milieu.
So, the Butterfree is really a huge pile of different kind of yarns. Wool, thin and thick cotton, viscose, iron wire (of course) and some normal sewing thread. :D Everything except iron wire is recycled.
