Mango the parrot

So, Mango the parrot was a commission for one of the student associations in my university. The character is an orange and green macaw who loves coffee way too much. While designing the character, I wanted to have some kind of gradient on the wings, but without any gradient yarn in the right colors or any interest in dying the yarn myself, I tried to mix the two colors as pixels.

This amigurumi has a lot of iron wire embedded into it. The body, wings and tail feathers are all supported, making the character as poseable as possible

As usual, the yarns used are recycled (in a way). I get most of my leftover yarns from my friends and relatives, so I purchase materials only for the larger projects.
